NBC has today given a series order to the original comedy series The Kenan Show starring Kenan Thompson and Andy Garcia.
Kenan (Thompson) strives to be a super dad to his two adorable girls, while simultaneously balancing his job and a father-in-law (Garcia) who "helps" in the most inappropriate ways.
The comedy also stars Punam Patel, Dani Lockett and Dannah Lockett.
Jackie Clarke wrote the pilot, which was directed by Chris Rock. They executive produce with Thompson, Lorne Michaels and Andrew Singer. Universal Television and Broadway Video produce.
