FX's Mrs. America; Showtime's Penny Dreadful: City of Angels; and Starz's P-Valley.





SHOWTIME's PENNY DREADFUL: CITY OF ANGELS
  • Michael Gladis, Lorenza Izzo, Adam Rodriguez, Thomas Kretschmann, Dominic Sherwood and Ethan Peck have joined the cast of the upcoming sequel series to Penny Dreadful. Gladis previously starred for three seasons in AMC's Mad Men. Izzo recurred on the final season of Hulu's Casual. Rodriguez currently stars in CBS' Criminal Minds, which returns for its fifteenth and final season in 2020. Kretschmann recently recurred on Epix's Berlin Station and appeared in an episode of Amazon's Lore. Sherwood starred for three seasons in Freeform's Shadowhunters. Peck recently recurred on the second season of CBS All Access' Star Trek: Discovery.
  • Gladis will play Councilman Charlton Townsend, the ambitious head of the L.A. City Council's Transportation Committee. He is a man of killer instincts and ruthless political wiles.
  • Izzo will recur as Santa Muerte, the Angel of Holy Death and the sister of charismatic demoness, Magda (Natalie Dormer).
  • Rodriguez will recur as Raul Vega, the eldest son of the Vega family and a righteous union leader and advocate for his people.
  • Kretschmann will recur as Richard Goss, an aristocratic and mysterious German architect with grand plans for the future of Los Angeles. He is a manipulative master builder with unsettling connections to city hall.
  • Sherwood will recur as Kurt, the chauffeur and bodyguard for Richard Goss. There's more to Kurt than meets the eye: an unexpected depth and surprising background.
  • Peck will recur as Herman Ackermann, the charismatic second-in-command at the German-American Bund. His aggressive politics, heated rhetoric and personal magnetism inevitably create tension within the group and for the leader, Peter Craft (Rory Kinnear).
STARZ's P-VALLEY
  • Thomas Q. Jones has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming drama starring Brandee Evans and Nicco Annan. He has previously recurred on BET's Being Mary Jane and Netflix's Luke Cage.
  • He will play Mane, a round-the-way dude who's always got a couple of scams cooking. He's gorgeous, sly, charming and country to the core.
FX's MRS. AMERICA
  • Bria Henderson has landed a recurring role on the upcoming limited series starring Cate Blanchett, Elizabeth Banks, Uzo Aduba and Rose Byrne. She is a relative newcomer who recently graduated from the University of Washington's Professional Actor Training Program.
  • She will play Margaret Sloan, the editor of Ms. Magazine, an outspoken, funny, radical-thinking African American feminist and civil rights activist who marched with Martin Luther King Jr. An out lesbian, single mother and accomplished poet, she was an intersectional trailblazer in several cultural and political movements.
