CBS ALL ACCESS' TELL ME A STORY
- Odette Annable, Natalie Alyn Lind, Matt Lauria, Eka Darville and Ashley Madekwe have been cast as series regulars on the anthology series' upcoming second installment. Annable recently starred in the third season of The CW's Supergirl. Lind starred for two seasons in FOX's The Gifted. Lauria starred for three seasons in Audience Network's Kingdom. Darville starred for three seasons in Netflix's Jessica Jones. Madekwe starred for three seasons in WGN America's Salem.
- Annable will play Maddie, a quintessential middle child. She is peace keeping overachiever who tries to maintain calm and control while her loved ones spiral. But after taking care of a broken family for so many years, she may not be willing to do the same for the man she loves.
- Lind will play Ashley, a rising country music singer who survives a brutal attack only to find that her nightmare isn't over. Once hungry for the spotlight, she now hides herself in the shadows of her home avoiding anyone who gets too close.
- Lauria will play Jackson, the black sheep of a family who is torn between his demons and the desire to be a better man. He meets his match in a mysterious woman who pulls him into a sinister web of deceit and murder.
- Darville will play Beau, a stoic and honorable man whose adherence to a moral code has recently blown up both his personal and professional life. As he struggles to navigate his new reality, he'll discover that the line between what's right and what's necessary, between duty and desire, is never easy to navigate.
- Madekwe will play Simone, who returns home after her father's untimely death and is forced to come face-to-face with the life she purposefully left behind. Driven by regret and anger, she will put her own life in danger to uncover the family's dark secrets.
HULU's CASTLE ROCK
- Robin Weigert, Alison Wright, Greg Grunberg and Sarah Gadon will guest star in the anthology series' upcoming second season. Weigert starred for three seasons in HBO's Deadwood (as well as its follow-up movie) and two seasons in HBO's Big Little Lies. Wright starred for four seasons in FX's The Americans and in the FX limited series Feud: Bette and Joan. Grunberg starred for three seasons in The WB's Felicity, two seasons in ABC's Alias and four seasons in NBC's Heroes. Gadon starred in the Netflix limited series Alias Grace as well as the third season of HBO's True Detective.
- Weigert will play Crysilda Wilkes, Annie's (Lizzy Caplan) mother.
- Wright will play Valerie, a kind-hearted local who is exploring the town's evil history.
- Grunberg will play Sheriff Boucher, a local official who faces off against a brewing dark force in Castle Rock.
- Gadon will play Rita Green, a vengeful woman from Annie's past.
FACEBOOK WATCH's SACRED LIES
- Juliette Lewis, Ryan Kwanten, Jordan Alexander, Kimiko Glenn, Kristin Bauer, Antonique Smith, Siobhan Williams, Emily Alyn Lind and Odiseas Georgiadis will star in the the anthology series' upcoming second season. Lewis starred for two seasons in ABC's Secrets and Lies as well as the HBO limited series Camping. Both Kwanten and Bauer starred for seven seasons in HBO's True Blood. Alexander's casting marks her first major television role. Glenn has recurred on Netflix's Orange Is the New Black. Smith has recurred on FOX's Shots Fired and Netflix's Luke Cage. Williams has recurred on Lifetime's UnREAL and Syfy's Deadly Class. Lind starred in the third season of CBS' Code Black. Georgiadis currently stars in Netflix's Trinkets.
- The second season follows Elsie (Alexander) as she searches for the family she never knew after being abandoned as a child. The search leads her to her father, Peter (Kwanten), an inmate who may be guilty of more than the crimes he's currently incarcerated for and Harper (Lewis), a telemarketer turned arm-chair detective with an obsessive hobby of searching for unidentified murder victims.
SHOWTIME's THE L WORD: GENERATION Q
- Brian Michael and Stephanie Allynne have joined the cast of the upcoming revival of the hit drama starring Jennifer Beals, Leisha Hailey and Katherine Moenig. Michael has previously recurred on OWN's Queen Sugar. Allynne starred for two seasons in Amazon's One Mississippi.
- Michael will play Pierce Williams, a buttoned-up, fastidious, expert political strategist and a veteran of LA politics. Unlike his colleagues, he's not quick to share details about his personal life, choosing to put all his energy into winning campaigns.
- Allynne will play Nat, a sweet therapist who is struggling to co-parent with a hostile ex-wife and her live-in girlfriend.
