CBS has confirmed today that the original drama series The Red Line will not return for a second season. It was always billed as a limited series, though the potential was there for a new season focused on a new story and characters.
The drama starred Noah Wyle, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Aliyah Royale, Michael Patrick Thornton, Vinny Chhibber, Howard Charles, Elizabeth Laidlaw and Noel Fisher.
Caitlin Parrish and Erica Weiss created the drama. They executive produced with Ava DuVernay, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Kevin Hooks and Sunil Nayar. Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions and Forward Movement produce.
