Syfy has just decided to cancel two of its original drama series - Happy! after two seasons and Deadly Class after one season. Both shows are expected to be shopped to other outlets by their respective studios.
Happy! starred Christopher Meloni, Ritchie Coster, Lili Mirojnick, Medina Senghore, Bryce Lorenzo, Patrick Fischler, Christopher Fitzgerald and Patton Oswalt.
Brian Taylor created the series based on the comic book by Grant Morrison and Darick Robertson. Taylor and Morrison executive produced with showrunner Patrick MacManus, Meloni, Neal H. Moritz, Pavun Shetty and Toby Jaffe. Universal Content Productions, Original Film, Littleton Road and Hypernormal produced.
Deadly Class starred Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadsworth, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faria, Luke Tennie, Liam James and Michel Duval.
Rick Remender and Miles Orion Feldsott developed the drama based on the graphic novel by Remender and Wesley Craig. They executive produced with showrunner Mick Betancourt, Anthony Russo, Joe Russo, Mike Larocca and Lee Toland Krieger. Universal Content Productions, Sony Pictures Television, 2 Miles Entertainment, Giant Generator, Getaway Productions, Chipmunk Hill and Gozie AGBO produced.
