NETFLIX's MERRY HAPPY WHATEVER
- Garcelle Beauvais has been cast in a recurring role on the upcoming comedy starring Dennis Quaid. She previously starred for five seasons in The WB's The Jamie Foxx Show and four seasons in ABC's NYPD Blue. She has recently recurred on Syfy's The Magicians, E!'s The Arrangement and Freeform's Siren.
- She will play Nancy, a warm, good-humored and no-nonsense nurse who treats Don (Quaid) and Matt (Brent Morin) when they arrive at urgent care. It seems Don may have a crush on Nancy though he denies it vehemently.
COMEDY CENTRAL's AWKWAFINA
- Chrissie Fit has booked a recurring role on the upcoming comedy created by and starring Awkwafina. She stars in Disney Channel's Teen Beach film franchise. She also appears in the Pitch Perfect film franchise.
- She will play Melanie, an old high school friend of Nora's (Awkwafina) who after a lot of early success has fallen on some hard times. The two friends reconnect after Nora runs into Melanie braiding hair on the Atlantic City boardwalk.
AMC's UNTITLED WALKING DEAD DRAMA
- Aliyah Royale and Annet Mahendru will co-star on the upcoming drama - the third series set in The Walking Dead universe. Moreover, Jordan Vogt-Roberts (Kong: Skull Island). has signed on to direct the premiere. Royale recently starred in the CBS limited series The Red Line. Mahendru starred for four seasons in FX's The Americans and one season in FX's Tyrant.
- Royale will play Iris, the co-lead opposite Alexa Mansour's Hope.
- Mahendru will play Huck.
