During the premium cable network's presentation at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour, Epix announced the premiere date for the upcoming third season of the original dramedy series Get Shorty.
The 7-episode third season will premiere on Sunday, October 6 at 10/9c.
Newly released from prison, Miles Daly is caught in a cat and mouse game with studio head Laurence Budd, while Amara and Rick flee to the Guatemalan jungle to escape the FBI.
The dramedy stars Chris O'Dowd, Ray Romano, Sean Bridgers, Carolyn Dodd, Lidia Porto, Goya Robles, Megan Stevenson, Lucy Walters and Sarah Stiles.
Davey Holmes developed the series based on the novel by Elmore Leonard. He executive produces with Adam Arkin and Etan Frankel. MGM Television produces.
