Following the network's presentation at the Television Critics Association's summer press tour, HBO renewed its original comedy series Los Espookys for a second season. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.
The comedy stars Bernardo Velasco, Julio Torres, Cassandra Ciangherotti, Ana Fabrega and Fred Armisen.
Fabrega, Torres and Armisen co-created the Spanish-language comedy. They executive produce with Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, Alice Mathias and director Fernando Frias. Broadway Video, Antigravico, Más Mejor and Fabula produce.
