HBO has announced that the upcoming fifth season of the original comedy series Ballers will be its last. The news was first announced by series star and executive producer Dwayne Johnson on Instagram. The fifth and final season premieres this Sunday, August 25.
In addition to Johnson, the comedy starred Rob Corddry, John David Washington, Omar Miller, Donovan W. Carter, Troy Garity, London Brown and Brittany S. Hall.
Guest stars for the final season include Russell Brand, Carl McDowell, Jazmyn Simon, Jay Glazer, Mark Schlereth, Robert Wisdom, Richard Schiff, Steven Weber, Emayatzy Corinealdi, Catherine Haena Kim, Odell Beckham Jr., Melvin Gordon, Rick Fox, Mikey Alfred, Randy Couture, DeAndre Hopkins, Derwin James, Von Miller, Malcolm Jenkins and Dante Fowler Jr.
