USA has renewed its original drama series Queen of the South for a fifth season, it was announced today. With Suits coming to an end this year, Queen of the South will now become the longest-running show currently on the air at USA. The drama will return with new episodes in 2020.
The drama stars Alice Braga, Hemky Madera and Alfonso Herrera.
Dailyn Rodriguez and Ben Lobato will return as showrunners for the fifth season - their second overall at the helm. They executive produce with David T. Friendly. Universal Content Productions and Fox 21 Television Studios produce.
