Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to star in, write and direct the original dramedy series Mr. Corman which has landed at Apple's forthcoming streaming service.
Gordon-Levitt stars as Mr. Corman, a public school teacher in the San Fernando Valley who is coming to grips with adulthood.
The new series will mark Gordon-Levitt's first series regular role since NBC's 3rd Rock From the Sun ended its six-season run in 2001. Since then, he has starred in the films (500) Days of Summer, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Looper, The Walk and Snowden.
A24 and Gordon-Levitt's HitRecord will produce the series.
