NETFLIX's HOLLYWOOD
- Darren Criss, David Corenswet, Jeremy Pope, Patti LuPone, Holland Taylor, Dylan McDermott, Samara Weaving, Jim Parsons, Maude Apatow, Joe Mantello, Laura Harrier and Jake Picking will star in the upcoming limited series created by Ryan Murphy. Criss, Corenswet and Pope will also executive produce the project.
- Criss won an Emmy Award for his lead performance in FX's The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story. He also starred for four seasons in FOX's Glee. Both shows were co-created by Murphy.
- Corenswet currently stars in the first season of Netflix's The Politician, which launched today and was also co-created by Murphy.
- Pope earned two Tony Award nominations earlier this year for the play Choir Boy and the musical Ain't Too Proud.
- LuPone has received seven Tony Award nominations - winning in 1980 for Evita and in 2008 for Gypsy. She also won two Grammy Awards in 2008 for Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny. She recently recurred on the second season of FX's Pose, which was also co-created by Murphy.
- Taylor won an Emmy Award in 1999 for her supporting role in ABC's The Practice. She also starred for twelve seasons in CBS' Two and a Half Men and currently stars in Audience Network's Mr. Mercedes, which is airing its third season now.
- McDermott has appeared in three seasons of FX's American Horror Story, which was also co-created by Murphy. He previously starred for seven seasons in ABC's The Practice and currently recurs on Netflix's The Politician.
- Weaving starred for two seasons in Showtime's SMILF and in the Amazon limited series Picnic at Hanging Rock. She is currently earning rave reviews for her lead performance in the horror film Ready or Not.
- Parsons starred for twelve seasons in CBS' The Big Bang Theory, winning four Emmy Awards for his lead performance. He previously worked with Murphy on the HBO movie The Normal Heart and the Broadway play The Boys in the Band.
- Apatow currently stars in HBO's Euphoria, which has already been renewed for a second season to air in 2020.
- Mantello has received eight Tony Award nominations - winning in 2003 for directing the play Take Me Out and in 2004 for directing the musical Assassins. He previously worked with Murphy on the HBO movie The Normal Heart and the Broadway play The Boys in the Band.
- Harrier appeared in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming and the 2018 film BlacKkKlansman.
- Picking has starred in the films Patriots Day, Blockers and Sicario: Day of the Soldado. He next appears in the film Top Gun: Maverick.
HBO's MARE OF EASTTOWN
- Julianne Nicholson, Jean Smart, Angourie Rice, Evan Peters, Cailee Spaeny and David Denman have been cast on the upcoming limited series starring Kate Winslet. Nicholson has recurred on HBO's Boardwalk Empire and Showtime's Masters of Sex. She next stars in HBO's upcoming limited series The Outsider. Smart is a three-time Emmy Award winner for NBC's Frasier and ABC's Samantha Who. She next stars in HBO's upcoming drama Watchmen. Rice stars in the current Spider-Man film franchise. Peters has starred for eight seasons in FX's American Horror Story. Spaeny starred in the 2018 films On the Basis of Sex and Vice. Denman starred for two seasons in NBC's The Office and one season in Cinemax's Outcast.
- Nicholson will play Lori Ross, Mare's (Winslet) best friend since they were four. She knows how mercurial and cutting Mare can be at times, but loves and accepts her exactly as she is.
- Smart will play Helen, Mare's mother. Opinionated, stubborn, a devout Catholic, she never holds back on her opinions, whether solicited or not.
- Rice will play Siobhan Sheehank, Mare and Frank's daughter, a lovely, brilliant young woman who is rebellious and strong-headed in nature.
- Peters will play Detective Colin Zabel, the county detective who has been called in to assist with Mare's investigation - much to her chagrin.
- Spaeny will play Erin McMenamin, a lonely teen girl who lives with her volatile father. The only love in her life is her infant son DJ.
- Denman will play Frank Sheehan, an affable, outgoing man, a math teacher at the local high school. He married Mare when they were just 20 years old, but their marriage split apart years ago.
SHOWTIME's YOUR HONOR
- Amy Landecker has joined the cast of the upcoming limited series starring Bryan Cranston. She currently stars in Amazon's Transparent, which debuted its musical series finale today. She recently recurred on Amazon's Sneaky Pete and appeared in an episode of CBS All Access' The Twilight Zone.
- She will play Nancy Costello, a detective assigned to investigate the murder of Michael's (Cranston) wife, Robin. In the course of her tireless investigation, she becomes close to the family and uncovers information that could prove dangerous.
