The series chronicles their descent from a complicated but thriving team to warring, cannibalistic clans, while also tracking the lives they've attempted to piece back together nearly 25 years later, proving that the past is never really past and what began out in the wilderness is far from over.

- DeVaughn Nixon will play his father, Norm Nixon, in the drama pilot starring Jason Clarke and John C. Reilly. He has previously recurred on Hulu's Runaways.
- In the potential series, Norm Nixon is a debonair playboy who overcomes insurmountable odds to become the All-Star point guard of the Los Angeles Lakers. He expertly maneuvers the complexities of NBA stardom, until talented young rookie Magic Johnson (Quincy Isaiah) arrives in L.A.
