HBO has renewed the original comedy series The Righteous Gemstones for a second season, it was announced today by Amy Gravitt, Executive Vice President, HBO Programming. The comedy is expected to return with new episodes in 2020.
The comedy stars Danny McBride, Adam DeVine, Edi Patterson, Tim Baltz, Tony Cavalero, Cassidy Freeman, Skyler Gisondo, GregAlan Williams, Dermot Mulroney, Walton Goggins and John Goodman.
McBride created the comedy. He executive produces with Jody Hill, David Gordon Green, John Carcieri, Jeff Fradley and Brandon James. Rough House Pictures produces.
