Netflix is adaptating Katie Cappiello's play Slut into an original drama series titled Grand Army. The streaming service has today ordered a 10-episode first season.
The drama follows five students at the largest public high school in Brooklyn as they wrestle with sexual, racial and economic politics and fight to succeed, strive, wild out, break free and become somebody.
Odessa A'zion, Amalia Yoo, Maliq Johnson, Amir Bageria and Odley Jean will star.
Cappiello will write and direct the drama. She will also executive produce with Beau Willimon, Joshua Donen, Jordan Tappis and Nicolette Donen.
