Netflix has today renewed its original comedy series Dear White People for a fourth and final season. The comedy will finish its run with 10 new episodes, likely debuting in 2020.
The comedy stars Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, Ashley Blaine Featherson and Marque Richardson.
Justin Simien developed the series based on his feature film of the same name. He will return as executive producer and co-showrunner alongside Yvette Lee Bowser. Lionsgate Television produces for Netflix.
"I'm so grateful my little indie-that-could has made it to four seasons at Netflix!" said Simien. "This show, along with the many talented storytellers it has brought into my orbit, has changed my life and I can't wait to create a celebratory final volume befitting such a transformative experience."
