AppleTV+ has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original limited series Truth Be Told starring Octavia Spencer, Aaron Paul and Lizzy Caplan.
The new series will premiere on Friday, December 6.
Podcaster Poppy Parnell (Spencer) is compelled to reopen the murder case that made her a national sensation and comes face to face with Warren Cole (Paul), the man she may have mistakenly helped to put behind bars. Her investigation navigates urgent concerns about privacy, media and race.
The cast also includes Elizabeth Perkins, Michael Beach, Mekhi Phifer, Tracie Thoms, Haneefah Wood and Ron Cephas Jones.
Nichelle Tramble Spellman created the drama. She executive produces with Spencer, Reese Witherspoon, Lauren Neustadter, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Kristen Campo, Leonard Dick, Ben Watkins, Victor Hsu and Mikkel Norgaard. Endeavor Content, Chernin Entertainment and Hello Sunshine produce.
