History has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming sixth season of the original drama series Vikings.
The 20-episode sixth and final season will air in two parts. The first will debut on Wednesday, December 4 at 9/8c. with a two-hour premiere, followed by eight episodes airing weekly at 10/9c. The final 10 episodes of the series will debut later on in 2020.
The drama stars Katheryn Winnick, Gustaf Skarsgård, Alexander Ludwig, Peter Franzén, Alex Høgh, Marco Ilsø and Jordan Patrick Smith.
Michael Hirst created the drama. He executive produces with Morgan O'Sullivan, Sheila Hockin, John Weber, Sherry Marsh, Alan Gasmer and James Flynn. MGM Television, Take 5 Prdocutions, TM Productions and Corus Entertainment produce.
