Netflix has today announced the premiere date for the new original comedy series Astronomy Club: The Sketch Show.
All six episodes of the first season will be available on Friday, December 6.
The comedy will feature sketches that explore an array of topics ranging from pop culture and social issues to the Black experience.
Members of the New York-based improv group star in the comedy - including Shawtane Bowen, Jonathan Braylock, Ray Cordova, James Ill, Caroline Martin, Jerah Milligan, Monique Moses and Keisha Zollar.
Daniel Powell serves as showrunner for the first season. He executive produces with Kenya Barris and Anni Weisband. Khalabo Ink Society produces.
