WGN AMERICA's ALMOST PARADISE
- Samantha Richelle, Arthur Acuña, Nonie Buencamino and Ces Quesada will co-star on the upcoming drama starring Christian Kane. Richelle is a relative newcomer. Acuña received an International Emmy Award nomination for the Singaporean drama The Kitchen Musical. Buencamino starred in the Filipino films Barber's Tales and Heneral Luna. Quesada starred in the Filipino films Invisible and Kasal.
- Richelle will play Kai Mendoza, the youngest person ever to make detective in the Cebu police force. She's a woman to be reckoned with who has worked tirelessly to get where she is and must constantly fight to prove herself. When Alex (Kane) enters the picture, she views him as an entitled know-it-all, but as they grow closer, they realize their commonalities.
- Acuña will play Ernesto Almares, Kai's partner and the soul of the law enforcement team.
- Buencamino will play Ike Ocampo, the chief of the Cebu Police Department.
- Quesada will play Cory, the manager of the hotel where Alex is staying.
