Netflix has renewed its original drama series Black Summer for a second season. Production on eight new episodes will begin in Canada early next year.
Returning castmembers for Season 2 include Jaime King, Justin Chu Cary and Christine Lee. Additional cast will be announced later.
Karl Schaefer and John Hyams created the drama. They executive produce with Abram Cox. King serves as a producer. The Asylum produces.
