Hulu has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original limited series Little Fires Everywhere starring Reese Witherspoon (Big Little Lies, The Morning Show) and Kerry Washington (Scandal, American Son).
The limited series will launch on the streaming service on Wednesday, March 18.
Based on Celeste Ng's 2017 best-selling noval, the series follows the intertwined fates of the picture-perfect Richardson family and an enigmatic mother and daughter who upend their lives. The story explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, the ferocious pull of motherhood - and the danger in believing that following the rules can avert disaster.
In addition to Witherspoon and Washington, the cast includes Joshua Jackson, Rosemarie DeWitt, Jade Pettyjohn, Jordan Elsass, Gavin Lewis, Megan Stott, Lexi Underwood and Huang Lu.
Liz Tigelaar developed the series and serves as showrunner. She executive produces with Witherspoon, Washington, Lauren Levy Neustadter, Pilar Savone and director Lynn Shelton. Author Celeste Ng serves as a producer. ABC Signature Studios, Hello Sunshine and Simpson Street Productions produce.
