Netflix has today renewed its original comedy series Special for a second season. An episode count and premiere date window were not immediately announced.
Ryan O'Connell, Jessica Hecht and Punam Patel will return as series regulars for the second season.
O'Connell created the comedy. He executive produces with Jim Parsons, Todd Spiewak, Eric Norsoph and director Anna Dokoza. Warner Bros. Television and That's Wonderful Productions produce.
The first season of the short form comedy received four Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
