HBO MAX's DMZ
  • Rosario Dawson will star in the drama pilot written by Roberto Patino and directed by Ava DuVernay. She previously appeared as Claire Temple in Netflix's Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders. She also recurred across two seasons in The CW's Jane the Virgin. She next stars in USA's upcoming drama Briarpatch, which premieres February 6.
  • She will play Alma, a fierce medic who saves lives while desperately searching for her lost son. As she contends with the gangs, militias, demagogues and warlords who now control the lawless island, she becomes the unlikely source of what everyone there has lost: hope.

They assume the victim's identity and must race against time to prevent the crime before it happens.
CBS' THE UNITED STATES OF AL
  • Dean Norris has been cast as a series regular on the comedy pilot starring Adhir Kalyan and Parker Young. He previously starred for five seasons in AMC's Breaking Bad and three seasons in CBS' Under the Dome. He currently stars in TNT's Claws, which returns for its fourth and final season later this year.
  • He will play Art, a veteran whose son, Riley (Young), a former Marine, and daughter Lizzie, still live with him. He understands the close bond Riley shares with Al (Kalyan), his Afghan translator, and warmly welcomes Al into his home.
