Amazon and Channel 4 are partnering on the original comedy series Frank of Ireland created by and starring brothers Brian and Domhnall Gleeson. The first season will produce six episodes.
The comedy follows 32-year-old misanthropic musician, Frank Marron (Brian Gleeson), who lives in Dublin with his mother. Domhnall Gleeson will play Frank's wingman.
The cast also includes Pom Boyd, Sarah Greene and Tom Vaughan-Lawlor.
The Gleeson brothers co-created the comedy with Michael Moloney. They executive produce with Sharon Horgan and Clelia Mountford. Merman will produce in association with Amazon and Channel 4.
