ABC NEW PILOT ORDER
  • HOME ECONOMICS (Comedy, Single Camera) - Written by Michael Colton and John Aboud (A Futile and Stupid Gesture). Executive produced by Colton, Aboud, Kim Tannenbaum and Eric Tannenbaum. Co-executive produced by Jason Wang. Produced by ABC Studios, Lionsgate Television and The Tannenbaum Company. Logline: A family comedy about three adult siblings: one in the 1 percent, one middle-class, and one barely holding on.
FOX's CALL ME KAT
  • Kyla Pratt will co-star on the comedy pilot (which has a series commitment) starring Mayim Bialik and Swoosie Kurtz. She starred in the Dr. Dolitte film franchise. She also starred for five seasons in UPN's One on One, three seasons in BET's Let's Stay Together and one season in Freeform's Recovery Road.
  • She will play Randi, a hip, confident millennial who was named Louisville's top barista four years in a row. She works at the café despite having no interest in cats. As someone who juggles multiple suitors, she encourages Kat (Bialik) to adopt a new approach to dating.
ABC's REBEL
  • James Lesure has been cast as a series regular on the drama pilot starring Katey Sagal and John Corbett. He previously starred for five seasons in NBC's Las Vegas. He has also recurred on Bravo's Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce, NBC's Good Girls and HBO's Divorce.
  • He will play Benji, a corporate lawyer who was Rebel's second husband, Cassidy's father and Lana's brother. A polished man, he is still welcome in Rebel's life - but he knows that he'll always get lambasted for siding with the fat cats instead of suffering humanity.
