Disney+ has today given a series order to a reboot of the 1989 feature film Turner & Hooch - with Drake & Josh alum Josh Peck set to star. The first season will produce 12 episodes.
In the hourlong series, ambitious and buttoned-up U.S. Marshall Scott Turner (Peck) inherits an unruly dog and soon realizes the pet he didn't want may be the partner he needs.
Burn Notice and The Gifted creator Matt Nix developed the series and will serve as an executive producer. Josh Levy will co-executive produce. 20th Century Fox Television will produce.
