SHOWTIME's BIG DEAL
- Tami Sagher has joined the cast of the comedy pilot starring Vanessa Bayer and Molly Shannon. Her guest credits include Comedy Central's Inside Amy Schumer, Netflix's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, Netflix's Russian Doll, Hulu's Difficult People and Netflix's GLOW.
- She will play Tami, an offbeat backstage producer.
ABC's THE BRIDES
- Katherine Reis, Chris Mason and Sophia Tatum will co-star on the drama pilot starring Gina Torres. Reis has previously recurred on TNT's Claws and NBC's Rise. Mason has recurred on Freeform's Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. Tatum currently recurs on Netflix's I Am Not Okay With This.
- Reis will play Lily Stevens, the youngest of the three Brides of Dracula, a striving singer in New York City whose relationship to a news reporter threatens to tear apart her marriage to her "sisters." In her former life, she braved the streets of Jack the Ripper's London, until being "rescued" by Dracula.
- Mason will play Roland Grant, a stylish real estate mogul who arrives in town to challenge Cleo (Torres) for professional supremacy. With secret ties to Dracula, he has a personal stake in the destruction of the Brides.
- Tatum will play Justine Strang. Completely friendless and new to town, she shows up at the studio of Renée Pélagie, a top modeling agent in New York City and the middle bride of Dracula. Renée soon takes this young, hungry, aspiring model under her wing, unaware that Justine may have a past with Dracula as well.
CBS' B POSITIVE
- Thomas Middleditch has been cast in the lead role on the comedy pilot starring Annaleigh Ashford. He previously starred for six seasons in HBO's Silicon Valley, earning an Emmy Award nomination for his performance. He next stars in the voice cast for Hulu's upcoming animated comedy Solar Opposites.
- He will play Drew, a newly divorced dad faced with finding a kidney donor and who is at the end of his rope when he runs into Gina (Ashford), a rough-around-the-edges woman from his past who volunteers her own. Together they form an unlikely bond and begin a journey that will change both of their lives.
NBC's ORDINARY JOE
- Natalie Martinez and Charlie Barnett are set as series regulars on the drama pilot starring James Wolk. Martinez starred for two seasons in CBS' Under the Dome, one season in ABC's Secrets & Lies and in the Netflix limited series The I-Land. Barnett starred for three seasons in NBC's Chicago Fire and in the first season of Netflix's Russian Doll.
- Martinez will play Amy, a bright and caring woman who forms an immediate connection with Joe (Wolk).
- Barnett will play Eric Payne, one of Joe's closest friends.
THE CW's THE REPUBLIC OF SARAH
- Izabella Alvarez, Nia Holloway and Hope Lauren have booked series regular roles on the drama pilot starring Stella Baker and Luke Mitchell. Alvarez has recurred on Showtime's Shameless, HBO's Westworld and ABC's Splitting Up Together. Holloway has recurred on CBS' Hawaii Five-0. Lauren has recurred on The CW's Supergirl and MTV's Awkward.
- Alvarez will play Maya. After her mother's imprisonment in Los Angeles, she is sent to Greylock to live with her estranged father. She struggles to adapt to life in rural New England at first, but with some help from her mentor, Sarah (Baker), she takes the first steps toward finding herself in her new home.
- Holloway will play AJ, Sarah's roommate and longtime friend. Sarcastic and cynical, they are always there for one another, which makes her an obvious choice to join Sarah's campaign for independence.
- Lauren will play Corinne, Sarah's devoted best friend. She's fun, friendly and quick with a laugh but the claws come out the moment somebody she cares about is threatened. After a whirlwind teenage romance with Sarah's brother, Danny (Mitchell), she has settled into domestic life as a mother and a teacher, but she can't help wondering what might have been with Danny.
CBS' THE EQUALIZER
- Tory Kittles has landed a series regular role on the drama pilot starring Queen Latifah. He previously starred for three seasons in USA's Colony and in the first season of HBO's True Detective. He has also recurred on FX's Sons of Anarchy.
- He will play Detective Marcus Dante, a highly intelligent, soft-spoken yet powerful and shrewd NYPD detective, with a cultivated veneer.
SHOWTIME's THE PRESIDENT IS MISSING
- Ann Dowd has joined the cast of the drama pilot starring David Oyelowo. She currently stars in Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale, which returns for its fourth season later this year. She previously starred for three seasons in HBO's The Leftovers.
- She will play President Jillian Stroud, the daughter of a Senator and the granddaughter of a Congressman. She is the first female President of the United States, combining compassion with steely dissolve.
NBC's SOMEONE OUT THERE
- Ryan Hansen and Aimee Carrero have scored the lead roles in the comedy pilot written by Josh Siegal, Dylan Morgan and Matt Hubbard. Neil Casey has also been cast today. Hansen starred for three seasons in UPN/Hulu's Veronica Mars, two seasons in Starz's Party Down and two seasons in YouTube Premium's Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television. Carrero starred for five seasons in Freeform's Young & Hungry and currently voices the lead role in Netflix's She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. Casey is currently recurring on HBO's Avenue 5.
- Hansen will play Derek, a film composer who thinks he has it all.
- Carrero will play Chloe, a no-nonsense bridal boutique owner.
- Casey will play Body, Derek's sad sack brother.
