HBO's THE GILDED AGE
- Carrie Coon has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Christine Baranski and Cynthia Nixon. She will replace Amanda Peet, who was originally cast but had to exit due to when the show is now expected to begin production. Coon previously starred for three seasons in HBO's The Leftovers, the third season of FX's Fargo and the second season of USA's The Sinner.
- She will play Bertha Russell, who comes from the ordinary middle-class. She backed her instincts when she set out to catch her husband George (Morgan Spector), the son of a merchant family who has proved to be a financial genius. She is determined to use her money and position to break into a society that resists change at every turn.
