Freeform has today opted to cancel its original drama series Party of Five after one season. The 10-episode first and only season concluded on March 4, 2020.
The drama starred Brandon Larracuente, Niko Guardado, Emily Tosta and Elle Paris Legaspi.
Amy Lippman, Christopher Keyser and Michal Zebede created the drama. They executive produced with Esta Spalding and Rodrigo Garcia. Freeform Original Productions, Sony Pictures Television, Mad Ben Productions and Pamplona Productions produced.
The cancellation comes as the cable network is in the midst of a structural change amongst its leadership ranks. Last week, it was announced that network president Tom Ascheim was leaving this summer for a job overseeing Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, Boomerang, TCM and Warner Bros. Animation for WarnerMedia. Freeform is currently searching for his replacement.
