Amazon has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming second season of the original drama series Homecoming.
All 10 episodes of the second season will be available on Friday, May 22.
The new season stars Janelle Monáe (Moonlight, Hidden Figures) as a woman adrift on a rowboat in a lake, with no memory of who she is or how she got there.
The drama also stars Stephan James, Hong Chau, Joan Cusack and Chris Cooper.
Series creators Eli Horowitz and Micah Bloomberg return as showrunners, while Kyle Patrick Alvarez directs every episode of the second season. They executive produce with Julia Roberts, Sam Esmail, Chad Hamilton, Chris Giliberti, Alex Blumber and Matt Lieber. Amazon Studios, Universal Content Productions, Red Om Films, Esmail Corp, Anonymous Content and Gimlet Media produce.
