FX has today officially given a series order to the original anthology series American Horror Stories which was first teased by series creator Ryan Murphy earlier this month. The spinoff of American Horror Story will debut in 2021.
The new episodic anthology series will feature a different horror story in each hourlong episode.
Murphy executive produces the series, with 20th Century Fox Television producing.
Production on the upcoming tenth season of American Horror Story has been delayed due to the entertainment industry shutdown as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The upcoming season is now slated to debut in 2021. The award-winning anthology series has already been renewed through its 13th season.
