FXX has renewed its original comedy series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for a fifteenth season, it was announced today. The renewal means the series will become the longest-running live-action comedy in television history.
The comedy stars Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson and Danny DeVito.
Day, Howerton and McElhenney write and executive produce the series. FX Productions, 3 Arts Entertainment and RCG Entertainment produce.
The 10-episode fourteenth season aired in the fall of 2019. The fifteenth season is expected to debut in 2021.
