Netflix has today given a series order to the original anthology drama series Anatomy of a Scandal based on the best-selling novel by Sarah Vaughan. The first season will produce six episodes, which will film in the U.K.
Each season of the anthology drama will tackle a different scandal. The first season will delve into a sexual consent scandal among the British privileged elite and the women caught up in its wake.
David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies) and Melissa James Gibson (House of Cards) developed the drama and will serve as showrunners. They will also executive produce with Vaughan, Bruna Papandrea, Steve Hutensky, Allie Goss, Liza Chasin, Margaret Chernin and director S.J. Clarkson. Made Up Stories will produce.
