Netflix has today renewed its original comedy series After Life created by and starring Ricky Gervais for a third season. Moreover, Gervais has signed a multi-year overall deal with the streamer to create new scripted series and stand-up comedy specials.In addition to Gervais, the comedy stars Penelope Wilton, David Bradley, Ashley Jensen, Tom Basden, Tony Way, David Earl, Joe Wilkinson, Kerry Godliman, Mandeep Dhillon, Jo Hartley, Roisin Conaty, Diane Morgan, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Peter Egan, Ethan Lawrence and Bill Ward.
Gervais executive produces with Charlie Hanson and Duncan Hayes. Derek Productions produces in association with Netflix.
