Hulu has today renewed two of its original animated comedy series. Solar Opposites will return for a 12-episode third season while Crossing Swords has been picked up for a 10-episode second season.
Solar Opposites stars Justin Roiland, Thomas Middleditch, Sean Giambrone and Mary Mack.
Roiland co-created the animated comedy with Mike McMahan. They executive produce with Josh Bycel. 20th Century Fox Television produces.
The series was originally picked up with a two-season order. The first season debuted on May 8, while the second season will launch in 2021 with eight new episodes.
Crossing Swords stars Nicholas Hoult, Adam Ray, Tara Strong, Tony Hale, Luke Evans, Seth Green, Alanna Ubach, Adam Pally, Yvette Nicole Brown, Maya Erskine, Breckin Meyer and Wendi McLendon-Covey.
Tom Root and John Harvatine IV created the series, with Root writing and Harvatine IV directing. Sony Pictures Television Studios and Stoopid Buddy Stoodios produce.
The 10-episode first season launched on June 12.
