AppleTV+ has today given a series order to the original drama series Echo 3 created by Academy Award winner Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker) based on the Israeli series When Heroes Fly. The first season will produce 10 episodes.
Brilliant young scientist Amber Chesborough is the emotional center of a small American family. When she goes missing along the Colombia-Venezuela border, her brother and her husband - two men with deep military experience and complicated pasts - struggle to find her in a drama set against the backdrop of a secret war.
Boal will serve as co-showrunner alongside Jason Horwitch. They will executive produce with Peter Traugott, Omri Givon, Stan Wlodkowski, Eitan Mansuri, Jonathan Doweck, Avi Nir, Alon Shtruzman and Karni Ziv. Keshet Studios will produce in association with Apple.
