FOX has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming original drama series Filthy Rich starring Kim Cattrall (Sex and the City, Tell Me a Story).
The 10-episode first season will begin on Monday, September 21 at 9/8c. - following the broadcast debut of the Spectrum drama L.A.'s Finest at 8/7c.
Cattrall stars as Margaret Monreaux, the matriarch of a mega-rich Southern family famous for creating a wildly successful Christian television network. After her husband dies in a plane crash, Margaret and the family are stunned to learn that he fathered three illegitimate children, all of whom are written into his will - threatening their family name and fortune.
The drama also stars Melia Kreiling, Aubrey Dollar, Corey Cott, Benjamin Levy Aguilar, Mark L. Young, Olivia Macklin, Aaron Lazar and Steve Harris.
Tate Taylor created the drama. He executive produces with Brian Grazer, Francie Calfo, John Norris and Abe Sylvia. Cattrall serves as a producer. Fox Entertainment, 20th Century Fox Television and Imagine Television produce.
