HBO has decided to cancel its original comedy series Run after one season, it was announced today. The 7-episode series concluded on May 24, 2020.
The comedy starred Merritt Wever and Domhnall Gleeson.
Vicky Jones created the comedy. She executive produced with Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Jenny Robins, Emily Leo, Oliver Roskill and director Kate Dennis. Entertainment One produced.
HBO released the following statement: "After exploring potential ways of continuing Ruby and Billy's journey, together with showrunner Vicky Jones, we have come to the decision that we will not be moving forward with a second season of Run."
