NETFLIX's THE CROWN
- Jonathan Pryce will play Prince Philip in the drama's upcoming fifth and sixth seasons. He will star alongside Imelda Staunton and Lesley Manville as the leads for the final two seasons. He succeeds Matt Smith and Tobias Menzies, who played the role during the drama's first four seasons.
- Pryce was nominated for an Academy Award earlier this year for the feature film The Two Popes. He is also a two-time Tony Award winner for Comedians in 1977 and Miss Saigon in 1991. He starred for two seasons in HBO's Game of Thrones and in the first season of Amazon's Tales From the Loop.
