NBC has today become the first broadcast network to announce tentative premiere dates for when its regular fall schedule will return.
All reality series listed below are either currently in production on new episodes or actively in pre-production with filming slated to begin shortly. All scripted series are hoping to get back into production following the Labor Day holiday weekend. However, none of them have confirmed restart dates yet - which makes these premiere dates ambitious on NBC's part while acknowledging November is the best return date possible at this point.
Previously, NBC announced that New Amsterdam, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Manifest and Law & Order: Organized Crime would be part of the Fall 2020 lineup. Those four shows have now been pushed back to 2021 - with reality shows or remotely-shot projects filling the gaps in the schedule.
Also being held for 2021 are new seasons of Good Girls, Making It, Who Do You Think You Are? and Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist as well as new series Debris, Kenan, Mr. Mayor, Young Rock, That's My Jam, Small Fortune and True Story.
