The CW's Batwoman; NBC's Chicago Med; and Netflix's Anatomy of a Scandal & The Kominsky Method.
NBC's CHICAGO MED
- Tehmina Sunny has landed a recurring role on the drama's upcoming sixth season. She currently stars in The CW's Pandora, which returns for its second season on October 4.
- She will play Dr. Sabeena Virani, the supervisor of a clinical trial for a new medication. She approaches Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) to lead the project.
NETFLIX's ANATOMY OF A SCANDAL
- Sienna Miller, Michelle Dockery and Rupert Friend will star in the upcoming season-long anthology series created by David E. Kelley and Melissa James Gibson. Miller starred in the Showtime limited series The Loudest Voice. Dockery starred for six seasons in PBS' Downton Abbey as well as the 2019 feature film. Friend starred for five seasons in Showtime's Homeland and two seasons in CBS All Access' Strange Angel.
- Miller will play Sophie Whitehouse, an Oxford graduate, a wife and a mother of two whose perfectly charmed life is about to implode.
- Dockery will play Kate Woodcroft, a steely criminal barrister specializing in prosecuting sexual crimes who's risen quickly in her field, and just got handed the case of a lifetime.
- Friend will play James Whitehouse, an ambitious and charismatic junior minister who has always shared his wife's good fortune - until now.
NETFLIX's THE KOMINSKY METHOD
- Alan Arkin will not return to the comedy for its upcoming third and final season. As the co-lead opposite Michael Douglas, Arkin earned two consecutive Emmy nominations for Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. His decision to exit the series came shortly after the second season debuted on the streaming service in October 2019. The entertainment industry shutdown due to the COVID-19 global pandemic apparently didn't play a factor.
- Arkin played Norman Newlander, Sandy Kominsky's (Douglas) trusted friend and agent.
THE CW's BATWOMAN
- Leah Gibson and Nathan Owens have booked recurring roles on the drama's upcoming second season. Gibson previously starred in the second season of Netflix's Jessica Jones. Owens starred for two seasons in Lifetime's Devious Maids.
- Gibson will play Tatiana aka "The Whisper." She is a skilled assassin, unflappable and cold as ice in the face of danger. She is one of Safiyah's (Shivani Ghai) most important henchwomen who still harbors feelings for her powerful boss.
- Owens will play Ocean, a zen thinker with a complicated past. A loyal soldier and fighter, he moves to Gotham looking for a new beginning.
