The CW's Batwoman & Legacies; Disney+'s Ms. Marvel; NBC's Young Rock; and Netflix's Locke & Key & Sweet Tooth.
NBC's YOUNG ROCK
- Adrian Groulx, Bradley Constant, Uli Latukefu, Stacey Leilua, Joseph Lee Anderson and Ana Tuisila will play the lead roles in the upcoming comedy created by Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang. Production will begin shortly in Australia for a 2021 premiere.
- Groulx will play Dwayne Johnson, aka Dewey, at age 10. He is honest, headstrong, impressionable and bold.
- Constant will play Dwayne Johnson at age 15. Doing his best to fit in as a normal teenager but puberty has other ideas. His size and full mustache have his classmates convinced he's an undercover cop.
- Latukefu will play Dwayne Johnson at ages 18-20. Has just been recruited to play football on a full scholarship at powerhouse University of Miami. Though a super-star talent, a devastating injury his freshman year puts his life at a crossroads.
- Leilua will play Ata Johnson, Dwayne's mother. Grew up in a first generation pro wrestling family. A strong woman, both by nature and necessity, she's a hopeful positive force in young Dwayne's life.
- Anderson will play Rocky Johnson, Dwayne's father. Charismatic and charming, the pro wrestling champion juggles the ups and downs of his career with being a well-intentioned, but unorthodox, husband and father.
- Tuisila will play Lia Maivia, Ata's mother and Dwayne's grandmother. The first female pro-wrestling promoter in the country. A sweet and loving grandmother and when need be, a cutthroat, ruthless businesswoman.
THE CW's BATWOMAN
- Alex Morf has been cast in a recurring role on the drama's upcoming second season. He has previously recurred on CBS' Madam Secretary, Netflix's Mindhunter, FOX's Gotham and USA's Mr. Robot.
- He will play Victor Zsasz, a charismatic, skilled hitman with high, unpredictable energy. He proudly carves tally marks onto his skin for every victim he kills.
NETFLIX's LOCKE & KEY
- Aaron Ashmore and Hallea Jones have been promoted to series regulars for the drama's upcoming second season. Furthermore, Brendan Hines has joined the cast as a new series regular. Ashmore and Jones recurred throughout the first season - appearing in 5 and 8 episodes, respectively. Hines previously starred for two seasons in Amazon's The Tick.
- Ashmore plays Duncan Locke. As a Locke family member with a history with the keys, he helps guide the Lockes in their battle against Dodge (Laysla De Oliveira).
- Jones plays Eden Hawkins. Former high school mean girl, now a newly minted demon, she is a surprising new force of antagonism to reckon with.
- Hines will play Josh Bennett, a charismatic and mysterious new history teacher at Matheson Academy with a secret agenda.
DISNEY+'s MS. MARVEL
- Following an extensive casting search, newcomer Iman Vellani will play the title role in the upcoming Marvel drama created by Bisha K. Ali. The series will mark her first major acting role.
- She will play Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teen based in New Jersey with a religious Muslim family. She gains polymorphous powers, having the ability to stretch and change shape.
NETFLIX's SWEET TOOTH
- Stefania LaVie Owen has joined the cast of the upcoming drama starring Christian Convery, Nonso Anozie and Dania Ramirez. She previously starred for two seasons in The CW's The Carrie Diaries, two seasons in Hulu's Chance and one season in Netflix's Messiah.
- She will play Bear, a teenage, dystopic activist who's the leader of the Animal Army. Her army of teens leads a moral crusade, fighting against the humans that lead to society's collapse while protecting all Hybrids.
THE CW's LEGACIES
- Ben Levin has been promoted to series regular on the drama's upcoming third season. He has recurred throughout the drama's first two seasons - appearing in 13 episodes overall. He also appeared in the Freeform original movie Turkey Drop.
- He plays Jed, the Salvatore School's werewolf alpha, who must work to reassemble the pack and repair the damage done to his friendships in the wake of Malivore's most devastating attack.
