HBO MAX's JULIA
- David Hyde Pierce will play the male lead on the drama pilot starring Sarah Lancashire. He previously starred for eleven seasons in NBC's Frasier, winning four Emmy Awards for his performance. He also won a Tony Award in 2007 for the musical Curtains.
- He will play Paul Child, Julia's (Lancashire) loving and devoted husband. He replaces Tom Hollander, who was originally cast but has exited the project opting not to undergo the travel restrictions required for the U.S. pilot shoot.
