NETFLIX's MAID
- Andie MacDowell will star opposite her real-life daughter Margaret Qualley in the upcoming drama created by Molly Smith Metzler. The series marks the first time the mother-daughter pairing will have acted together. MacDowell is best known for her starring roles in the films Groundhog Day and Four Weddings and a Funeral. On television, she starred for three seasons in Hallmark's Cedar Cove.
- She will play Paula, Alex's (Qualley) mother, a self-proclaimed artist, who is the life of every party. She is eccentric, passionate, scrappy and unabashed about her sexuality, which attracts an endless rotation of boyfriends. However, everything that makes Paula infectious to be around is also indicative of her constant struggle with her psychological demons - a struggle she has never acknowledged, and often does not win.
