HBO's 'In Treatment' to Return with Uzo Aduba Playing the Lead Role

HBO's original drama series In Treatment is returning for a fourth season, with Emmy winner Uzo Aduba (Orange Is the New Black, Mrs. America) set to play the lead role. Production will begin this fall under strict COVID-19 guidelines, with a debut in 2021.





The new season brings a diverse trio of patients in session with the observant, empathetic Dr. Brooke Lawrence (Aduba) while she wrestles with her own issues. 

Executive produces include Hagai Levi, Stephen Levinson, Mark Wahlberg, Jennifer Schuur, Joshua Allen and Melissa Bernstein. Joanne Toll and Noa Tishby will serve as co-executive producers. Leverage Management, Closest to the Hole Productions and Sheleg will produce.

The original half-hour series produced three seasons on HBO from 2008-2010, with Gabriel Byrne and Dianne Wiest in the lead roles.
