Amazon has today renewed the original drama series The Expanse for a sixth and final season. Production on the 10-episode final season will begin in early 2021.
The drama stars Steven Strait, Dominique Tipper, Wes Chatham, Frankie Adams, Cara Gee, Nadine Nicole, Keon Alexander, Jasai Chase Owens and Shohreh Aghdashloo.
Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby developed the drama based on the novels by James S.A. Corey. They executive producer with showrunner Naren Shankar, Andrew Kosove, Broderick Johnson, Laura Lancaster, Sharon Hall, Sean Daniel, Jason Brown, Daniel Abraham, Ty Franck and Dan Nowak. Alcon Television Group produces.
