Netflix has today announced the premiere date for the upcoming fourth season of the original animated comedy series Big Mouth.
All 10 episodes of the fourth season will be available on Friday, December 4. The series has already been renewed for its fifth and sixth seasons.
Season 4 focuses on anxiety; the anxiety of growing up, of figuring out who you are, discovering yourself, accepting yourself. The season starts at summer camp before the students of Bridgeton Middle School begin 8th grade. Maria Bamford comes to stir things up as Tito the Mosquito, the anxiety ridden insect who targets all our favorite students. As the season progresses, we're introduced to Zach Galifianakis as Gratitoad, who is there to help our core group learn to cope with their anxiety and not let it completely own them. The show continues exploring human sexuality and everything around it, including racial and sexual identity, love in all its forms and having "The Hugest Period Ever."
The voice cast features Nick Kroll, John Mulaney, Jessi Klein, Maya Rudolph, Jason Mantzoukas, Jenny Slate, Ayo Edebiri, Fred Armisen and Jordan Peele.
Guest voices for the upcoming season include Josie Totah, Lena Waithe, Quinta Brunson, Seth Rogen, John Oliver, Sterling K. Brown, Paul Giamatti, May Erskine and Anna Konkle.
Kroll co-created the animated comedy with Andrew Goldberg, Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett.
