The drama stars Ernie Hudson, Valarie Pettiford, Darrin DeWitt Henson, Javicia Leslie, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, Miguel A. Nunez, Arrington Foster, KJ Smith, Dylan Weber, Yadi Valerio and Emilio Rivera.
Carl Weber created the drama based on his best-selling series of novels. He executive produces with Hudson and showrunner Nikaya D. Brown Jones. Trey Haley serves as co-executive producer and director. Urban Books Media and Tri Destined Studios produce.
The first six episodes of the second season will released from July 2 - August 6, 2020. The remaining six episodes will begin rolling out weekly starting on Thursday, December 31.
