Netflix has renewed its original drama series Bridgerton for a second season, it was announced today. Production will begin on the new season in spring 2021.
The drama stars Phoebe Dynevor, Regé-Jean Page, Jonathan Bailey, Nicola Coughlan, Claudia Jessie, Ruby Barker, Adjoa Andoh, Golda Rosheuvel, Luke Thompson, Luke Newton, Ruby Stokes, Will Tilston, Florence Hunt, Ruth Gemmell, Bessie Carter, Harriet Cains, Polly Walker, Ben Miller, Sabrina Bartlett, Martins Imhangbe, Lorraine Ashbourne and Julie Andrews.
Chris Van Dusen developed the drama based on the novels by Julia Quinn. He executive produces with Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Julie Anne Robinson. Shondaland produces.
The second season will adapt the second novel in the series The Viscount Who Loved Me.
